About Us
WHO WE ARE
DABI Moulik Unnayan Sangstha is a non-government, non-profit earning voluntary development organization located at Chakrampur, Khathaltoli, Shanthahar Road in Naogaon.
DABI was formed under the dynamic leadership of a former UN volunteer named M. M. Akram Hossain and remarkable initiatives of some freedom fighters and some retired army persons in 1986. Few committed individuals having substantial experience in grass root level development activities along with voluntary efforts of local youths make the way easier to put a halt in further derogation of social economic condition of its target group members who were plunged into extreme poverty and to bring a positive change in their life by removing poverty, illiteracy, ignorance, prejudice and religious superstition from the rural society.

Empowerment of the poor society, politically and economically through institution building,awareness raising, social mobilizations and advocacy.
Development Philosophy
DABI’s development philosophy is for releasing the human potentialities to its fullest extent so that the poor can be a maker of their destiny for translating this vision in to reality; DABI believes that the majority of distressed and powerless people should release dormant potentialities for their personal, social, economic educational, civic growth and development.
Mission of DABI
To establish a gender equitable, self-reliant and exploitation free society by gaining confidence of its constituents through hard and sincere work to fulfil five basic needs of them, preservation of their human rights and development of their leadership qualities.
